I go to a con every year in September called
Anime Weekend Atlanta. It doesn't have as great guests as say Anime Expo or Otakon, but it still ranks in the "Top Ten Attended Anime Conventions". Our Artist Alley has maybe 100 tables.
Anyway, I'm super excited this year cause some of my favorite people are coming to Atlanta to visit during the con!

YAYYYYYY! I didn't wanna say anything earlier cause I might get jinxed but it's hard containing myself now~

I haven't seen *
panchan14 in a year; haven't seen *
mormonshedevil in two years and haven't seen =
willowrainwolf in five years (maybe more). I can't WAIT to give you all HUUUUUGE HUGS!!!!!

We have a humongo group this year too. Sixteen people I think? Here are the ones that have a deviantART account:

And of course my sister

is gonna be there too. (My sister and I are one package

We're buy one, forced to get second)
I'll also have a table in the Artist Alley. *
panchan14, *
mormonshedevil, ~
hayaname, ~
music-dork, and maybe more will be sharing my table (yeah, we're gonna have two~).
I'm still a little irked about not making it to AX this year *clings to :devhakuku* especially since
SEKI TOSHIHIKO whose autograph I've been dying to get since the birth of my pathetic anime-crazy existence will be there... AND I WON'T!

Ah well. Win some, lose some! I'd choose Rin-san and Mi-yan over Seki Toshihiko any day!

Anyone else gonna attend AWA this year?

I'd love for you to come and say HI!
Oh, and I will do my best to try and cosplay this year! Wish me luck!

A group of talented young artists that will give you a run for your money and won't disappoint. They work hard to give you what you want and keep on improving to make their quality even better. Give this group a try.

makes custom hand-stitched pillows and keychains of your favorite characters! I commissioned her for my original character and I just love my pillow!!
[link]
has amazing skills and her prices are fair. =3 You'll definitely get
more for your money.

is doing super cheap, cheap commissions! I'm getting a full body full color character for just $10! It's definitely worth going to her

is simply amazing. She'll do commissions for money
or pocky. I sent her a couple boxes and she totally went the extra mile for me! TT^TT GO have a looksee~

is practically whoring herself with her low prices. She does fan and original art so go take a look at her page!

*ahem* if I may also pimp myself... I am restarting my button-making service!

Here's the info:
CUSTOM 1 1/2 INCH BUTTONS!!!Did you ever want to make your artwork into buttons but didn't have the funds to buy a button machine? Well then, let me do it for you~
Prices:
1 button = $1.50 each
10 buttons = $13 (save $2)
20 buttons = $25 (you save $5)
(Note me for any order over 20)
If you wish to send me your own prints, then I will give you a 10% discount.
Shipping:

In the US for 10 or less buttons = $2

In the US for 11 to 25 buttons = $3
(Note me for any order over 25)
Please keep in mind that even if you purchase only one button, shipping will still be $2
Global / Outside US = varies by country
(Note me for details)Rules:

You must send me very specific instructions on how you want your button(s) to look.

No refund possible. I very specifically asked for specific instructions. If you believe I didn't follow the instructions I may give a discount on the next order depending on the situation but there are no guarentees.

Anime, manga, TV show, drama, etc are welcome as long as you provide the picture(s) whether it's as a link or a print.

Art that is not yours (i.e. fanarts, dA artists' photographies) is not allowed to be commissioned to be a button unless you have the artist's permission. For example, I'll gladly make
[link] into a button but I refuse to make
[link] a button unless the artist gives her permission. If it's your art, it's fine.

Because I'm at school, I will accept only three person commissions at a time.

If I receive a large order (30+) that one commission will be the only one I accept until it is done.

Payment must be half upfront and half upon receiving the product.

I prefer all payments to be Paypal exclusive, but I will also accept Western Union and money orders. If you prefer another method, contact me and we'll compromise.

I reserve the right to refuse a customer or order when I feel it is neccessary.
Things You Should Know
Because they are 1 1/2", you can easily resell these buttons for $2-$3 each.

I'm not a button-making company so that is why I can't adjust my shipping prices as I'd like, but I assure you they will come in very safe and sturdy bubble wrap carriers that will be worth the shipping costs.

I'm alone in this service and I am in college so I may work fast or it may take some time depending on your order and the timing. However, my previous customers ~
shibakaien and =
hakuku will support me in saying that I usually work fast and I have high quality buttons.

If you have any questions, you can note me, IM me at sukittosushi, or email me at malletofjustice@yahoo.com with the subject [BUTTONS]. Thanks!
Art Commissions:
I'll also start art commissions~ Here are some [preemptive] prices:

Pencil: $10 ($15 if you want the original), $5 for each additional character (four characters maximum please)

Inked: $12 ($15 for the original), $3 for each additional character (four characters maximum please)

Colored (character only): $18, $5 for each additional character

Background (simple watercolor like rainbow or simple greens): $8 additional

Background (complicated like forest): $15 additional
Shipping: $3 in the US (note me for international)
Things You Should Know
I will accept three commissions at a time (because I am a college student).

For fairness sake, I warn you, I may take some time to get these done.

If a person commissions me for a colored background, that one commission will be the only one I will accept until it is finished.

I accept commissions at a first-come-first-served basis.

I reserve the right to refuse a commission if I believe I cannot do it for artistic or academic reasons or if I believe the commissioner is not genuine.

By commissioning me, you are signing a social contract with me that you wil uphold your held of the bargain to pay me and I will deliver the art you ask of me.

All payment must be half upfront and half upon receiving the art.

I accept only Paypal, Western Union, and money order. If this poses a problem, please contact me and we'll work something out ^^

Unless you are a close friend or I recognize you as a long-time watcher, I will not make this an art trade. Sorry, but no. I do not want to risk pouring my time and heart into an art only to receive and disappointment in the end. Hope you understand.
Found this at ~demidemii's site:10 Reasons Why Gay Marriage is Wrong
01) Being gay is not natural. Real Americans always reject unnatural things like eyeglasses, polyester, and air conditioning.
02) Gay marriage will encourage people to be gay, in the same way that hanging around tall people will make you tall.
03) Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.
04) Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn't changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can't marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.
05) Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britany Spears' 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.
06) Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn't be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren't full yet, and the world needs more children.
07) Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.
08) Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That's why we have only one religion in America.
09) Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That's why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.
10) Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms. Just like we haven't adapted to cars, the service-sector economy, or longer life spans.

Gathion11) Gay Marriage should be decided by the people, not the courts, because the majority-elected legislatures, not courts, have historically protected the rights of miniorities.
12) Civil Unions, providing most of the same benefits as marriage with a different name are better, because a "separate but equal" institution is always constitutional. Separate schools for African-Americans worked just as well as separate marriages will for gays & lesbians.
